Twilight Guardian

Miro is searching for an ancient artifact to save the forest from darkness, overcoming puzzles and dangers along the way. 

A project challenge for me is to create a mini retro action-RPG with 9 screens in total. It feature minimalist combat/leveling up (hello, Hydlide!) and puzzles.  Another challenge is to eliminate the need for any language knowledge (except for the title menu with its "new game") - communication will be done through signs.
